Job summary

TQA is seeking an Azure Solutions Architect to lead the technical side of our Microsoft practice in the United States. The role is client-facing, split between pre-sales and delivery leadership, with Azure depth at the core.

You will size engagements, own proposals, and guide architecture across global accounts, while driving governance and security standards. Expect collaboration with the Microsoft field, Foundry/Azure OpenAI, and Copilot Studio capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Microsoft-stack consulting or solution architecture; 3+ years shaping solutions in live pursuits.
• Azure depth with enterprise-scale design and governance.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric and the data layer.
• Experience designing AI solutions on Foundry or Azure OpenAI.
• Knowledge of Copilot Studio and Foundry boundary decisions.
• Proven commercial track record: proposals, deals, and pitches.
• Strong estimating and pricing capabilities.
• Experience collaborating with Microsoft field on co-sell initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Legal right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead the solution design on live pursuits and defend the Microsoft architecture.
• Write and own technical content of proposals, SOWs, and RFP responses.
• Size the work, estimate effort and risk, and defend estimates.
• Be the senior technical voice in pitches and executive briefings.
• Run discovery workshops and architecture reviews that convert into paid engagements.
• Design and productise offerings with repeatable patterns and reference architectures.
• Own the architecture for US-based Microsoft engagements from design to production.
• Set technical quality standards and govern delivery outputs.
• Mentor consultants and support the practice skilling plan.
• Build relationships with Microsoft field and lead joint opportunities.
