Job summary

Edge Tech is seeking an Azure Solutions Architect to lead the technical side of the US Microsoft practice. This client-facing role blends pre-sales design, proposals, and delivery leadership to drive growth across North America.

You will own architecture for engagements, set technical standards, and mentor consultants in a high-impact environment. Responsibilities include crafting proposals, evaluating effort and risk, and shaping repeatable Azure solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Microsoft-stack consulting or solution architecture.
• 3+ years in pre-sales/bid/solutioning at a Microsoft partner, SI, or consultancy.
• Deep Azure at enterprise scale: landing zones, identity, networking, security, cost management.
• Experience with MicrosoftFabric or comparable enterprise data platform.

Responsibilities

• Write and own technical content for proposals, SOWs, and RFPs.
• Estimate scope, effort, and commercial risk; defend those estimates.
• Be the senior technical voice in pitches, briefings, and bake-offs.
• Run discovery workshops and architecture reviews that convert to paid engagements.
• Productise offerings: turn patterns into repeatable scope, price, and architecture.
