Job summary

CNA Insurance in Chicago seeks an Azure Technical SME to act as the central technical authority for CNA's Azure cloud environment, guiding MSPs with expert guidance and ensuring secure, scalable deployments.

You will collaborate with Security, Architecture, AI Governance, and Digital Workplace Enablement to optimize Azure services, enable Power Platform and Power BI, and drive cost transparency and governance across MSP workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Typically 5+ years of IT infrastructure, cloud, or workplace technology experience.
• Hands-on Microsoft Azure engineering and administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide MSP technical guidance and escalation support across Azure cloud operations.
• Review MSP solutions against CNA’s architecture standards and security requirements.
• Develop and maintain Azure platform governance, landing zones, subscriptions, and resource groups.
• Automate endpoint provisioning, software deployment, and compliance reporting.
• Mentor MSP engineers on Azure, Microsoft 365, and endpoint management.
