Job summary

TENEX.AI is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to own the Azure platform, CI/CD pipelines, and SRE practices, ensuring high availability and security as data scales. Collaborate with Software Engineering, AI/ML, and Security Operations to define the technical vision and architecture for production systems.

The role requires deep Azure expertise, a strong software engineering foundation, and fluency in DevSecOps. Onsite work in multiple cities is required with WFH Fridays.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles.
• Hands-on Azure platform experience with AKS, Entra ID, VNet, Key Vault, and policy/landing zone architecture.
• Production workloads across cloud environments; secure and compliant environments (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Microservices, containers, event-driven systems; IaC with Terraform or Bicep; CI/CD best practices.
• Go or Python production experience; strong monitoring/observability skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture of the Azure platform as it scales to large data and events.
• Own Azure governance, subscriptions, network topology, and identity management.
• Lead SRE initiatives with SLOs/SLIs and on-call rotations.
• Implement advanced monitoring, automated provisioning, and disaster recovery.
• Define DevSecOps practices and standardize CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
• Automate deployment and management of microservices with Docker/Kubernetes/AKS.
• Maintain workload portability and collaborate to optimize performance and cost.
• Mentor teams on Azure architecture, reliability, and security-first development.
• Translate product requirements into scalable platform solutions; evaluate new infra tech.
