Job summary

Trex Company is seeking a Platforms & Cloud Engineer to own and optimize the Microsoft Azure cloud environment and supporting platform infrastructure. You will collaborate with infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams to deliver scalable, secure cloud solutions aligned with Trex’s business goals.

The role is on-site in Winchester, VA with full-time status and travel as needed. Requirements include a BS in CS or equivalent, 5+ years of enterprise infra experience, and 3+ years

Qualifications

• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN and load balancing experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with users of varying technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own and administer the Microsoft Azure environment, ensuring platform stability, performance and security.
• Design, deploy, maintain and optimize Azure infrastructure and platform services.
• Manage Azure governance: subscriptions, policy, cost controls and compliance.
• Monitor cloud health, capacity and performance; address issues proactively.
• Coordinate with networking, security and app teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions.
• Participate in on‑call support and incident response as required.
• Travel to other Trex locations as needed.
