Job summary

Allstate is seeking an experienced Platform Consultant to bridge business requirements with engineering execution across Azure-based platforms. You will work on API integrations, cloud migrations, and DevOps readiness, delivering secure and scalable solutions.

In this role, you will partner with Product, Engineering, Security, and Infrastructure teams, perform hands-on testing, and create documentation to inform stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years progressive experience.
• Hands-on API + integration experience.
• Azure/cloud experience.
• Working knowledge of DevOps (CI/CD, repos, deployments).
• Ability to execute within platform delivery (not just architect).
• Strong communication + documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support platform solution design and integration strategies.
• Perform hands‑on API validation and testing (e.g., Postman).
• Assist in Azure migration planning, environment readiness, and cutover execution.
• Coordinate DevOps readiness: Repo access, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes.
• Support data migration planning and validation (including PHI/PII considerations).
• Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies across environments, security, and integrations.
• Collaborate with engineering to translate business requirements into implementable solutions.
• Produce technical documentation, decision logs, and stakeholder updates.
