Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking a Principal Platform Engineer to lead the architecture, design, and modernization of an Enterprise API and AI Platform on Azure. You will drive target-state architecture for internal/external APIs, AI gateway patterns, and security controls, enabling automation and self-service for developers.

Responsibilities include platform standardization, CI/CD with Azure DevOps, and observability using Azure Monitor.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale API platforms on Azure.
• Strong security and governance practices for APIs and AI services.
• Hands-on with IaC (Terraform) and CI/CD automation for platform engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of Everest's next-gen API and AI Platform using Azure API Management and AI Gateway.
• Define target-state architectures for internal/external API traffic and DR.
• Implement reusable APIM policy frameworks (auth, JWT, OAuth, mTLS, rate limiting).
• Drive platform security hardening, firewall and WAF integration, and identity patterns.
