Job summary

TEKsystems in Farmington, CT is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize our global network infrastructure including Azure integration and security.

You will deploy Palo Alto firewalls, manage SolarWinds, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure uptime across 260+ locations. This is a hybrid full-time role with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience with Palo Alto and Azure networking technologies.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, routing, switching, VPNs, and firewall configurations.
• Experience designing networks across multiple regions.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network security solutions using Palo Alto products.
• Architect, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Design scalable network architectures for 260+ locations and optimize performance.
• Drive replacement of Sophos firewalls with Palo Alto across edge and core.
• Collaborate with teams and vendors; document diagrams and SOPs.
• Respond to incidents with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
