Job summary

Resource Innovations is seeking a Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team in Salt Lake City, UT and other supported locations. You will administer, secure, and optimize Azure and Microsoft 365 services, improving reliability, user experience, and operational efficiency across the organization.

The role emphasizes hands-on cloud infrastructure, identity management, and hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering production services in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Azure compute, storage, networking, subscriptions, resource groups, monitoring, backup, and access controls.
• Experience administering two or more core Microsoft 365 workloads (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, or Microsoft 365 Apps).
• Familiarity with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph for automation and administration.
• Strong knowledge of network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, mail flow) and hybrid connectivity.
• Ability to coordinate with security, compliance, and endpoint-management teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure across subscriptions, resource groups, regions, and landing zones.
• Administer Azure VM, disks, storage accounts, VNETs, NSGs, private endpoints, load balancers, DNS, backup, and hybrid connectivity.
• Use Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Service Health to maintain service availability and visibility.
• Apply Azure Policy, tagging, RBAC, privileged access, and Defender recommendations.
• Administer Microsoft 365 tenant settings, service health, licensing, usage reporting, and escalations.
• Administer Exchange Online, including mail flow, accepted domains, and retention coordination.
• Administer Teams including policies and settings, external access, and service troubleshooting.
• Administer SharePoint Online and OneDrive including site administration and permissions support.
• Coordinate Microsoft 365 Apps administration and update channels with endpoint-management teams.
• Administer Microsoft Entra integration including groups, roles, and service principals.
• Use PowerShell and Microsoft Graph to automate administration and reporting.
• Monitor 365 service health and coordinate responses with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on Purview, Defender XDR, and DLP improvements.
