Job summary

Infinity Natural Resources, headquartered in Morgantown, WV, is seeking an IT Infrastructure Analyst to design, administer, monitor, and support enterprise infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments. The role involves collaboration across teams to enhance reliability, security, and cost efficiency.

The position is hybrid, with three days on site in Morgantown and about 10% travel to field locations. On-call rotation participation is expected about one week per month.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience supporting applications.
• Knowledge of designing, building, and supporting infrastructure in Azure cloud.
• Understanding of automation via scripting (Powershell, TerraForm, Ansible, etc.).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience in oil and gas industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support infrastructure platforms including Linux servers and virtualization.
• Manage Azure cloud environment: provisioning, configuration, cost management, performance optimization.
• Install, configure, patch, and maintain Linux operating systems for security and compliance.
• Monitor infrastructure health with enterprise tools and troubleshoot issues.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure security controls and compliance requirements.
• Automate infrastructure tasks using scripting and IaC tools to improve efficiency.
• Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
• Manage identity and access services and authentication technologies.
• Troubleshoot complex incidents and coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and cloud providers.
• Plan and execute upgrades, migrations, and deployments with minimal business disruption.
• Develop and maintain architecture diagrams and support procedures.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, application, network, and business teams on secure solutions.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Participate in cloud adoption, modernization, and system integration initiatives.
