Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an Information Security Analyst to design, implement, and manage secure Azure Government Secret cloud architectures. You will enforce zero-trust, RBAC, and identity federation, while configuring Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, and other controls to maintain compliance and enable secure DevSecOps.

You will collaborate with mission owners and compliance teams, lead automation via PowerShell/Terraform, and drive vulnerability remediation in line

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems security; master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• 5+ years in cloud security; 2+ years in Azure Government or DoD environments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure-native security tools, IL6 data handling, and cloud networking.
• Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) and Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform).
• Experience with DoD frameworks (SRG, FedRAMP High, JSIG, ICD 503).
• Hands-on with classified enclaves, hardened images, and enclave-to-enclave connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud architectures within Azure Government Secret environments.
• Enforce zero trust principles, RBAC, and identity federation.
• Configure and manage security controls (Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, Azure Policy, NSGs, Private Endpoints).
• Automate compliance and security operations using PowerShell, Terraform, or ARM templates.
• Integrate SIEM/SOAR tools for monitoring, logging, and incident response.
• Support ATO processes by generating security documentation and evidence.
