Job summary

Verigent is seeking an Azure Infrastructure Administrator to join our Augusta, GA remote team with occasional on-site work. You will architect, deploy, and manage GCC High Azure Government enclaves meeting DoD/NIST controls.

Responsibilities include IAM, network security, IaC (Bicep/ARM or Terraform), and monitoring with Azure Monitor and Sentinel to ensure compliance and secure operations across cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years administering Microsoft Azure environments, GCC High/USGov tenant configurations.
• Experience with Entra ID, AVD, Key Vault, and Azure Networking.

Responsibilities

• Secure Azure Enclave Deployment: Build, configure, and maintain isolated Azure Government (GCC High) environments and VNets.
• Identity & Access Management: Manage Azure AD/Entra ID, conditional access, RBAC, MFA, and PIM.
• Network & Boundary Security: Configure NSGs, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute/VPN, VNet peering, and WAF.
• Automation & IaC: Develop templates in Bicep, ARM, or Terraform for deployments.
• NIST SP 800-171 mapping: Align controls to CMMC Level 2 practices.
• Logging & Monitoring: Centralize logs with Azure Monitor and Sentinel for audit trails.
• Vulnerability & Patch: Manage OS patching and backup policies.
• Artifact Generation: Produce materials required for C3PAO assessments.
