Job summary

SteelGate LLC in Augusta, GA seeks an experienced Azure / Cloud Infrastructure Administrator to build and operate secure GCC High Azure Government enclaves for DoD compliance. You will architect, deploy, and maintain compliant cloud footprints, automate IaC deployments, and enforce strict access controls across environments.

You will collaborate with system architects, compliance leads, and security engineering to map controls, secure boundaries, and enable continuous monitoring using Azure

Qualifications

• 3+ years administering Microsoft Azure environments, with GCC High / USGov tenancy
• Experience with Entra ID / Azure AD and IAM including conditional access, RBAC, MFA, PIM
• Proficiency with IaC tools: Bicep, ARM, or Terraform

Responsibilities

• Secure Azure Enclave Deployment: Build, configure, and maintain GCC High Azure environments and VNets
• IAM: Manage Azure AD/Entra ID, conditional access, RBAC, MFA, and PIM
• Network security: Configure NSGs, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute/VPN, VNet peering, and WAF alignment
• Automation & IaC: Develop and maintain templates with Bicep/ARM/Terraform for compliant deployments
• NIST 800-171 mapping: Implement controls for access, identification, configuration, and system protection
• Logging & monitoring: Centralize logs with Azure Monitor and Sentinel
• Vulnerability management: Patch management, backups, and host hardening
• Artifacts: Produce topology diagrams and baselines for C3PAO evidence packages
