Job summary

Eversource is seeking a Lead Engineer, Development, Security and Operations (DevSecOps) to lead Azure-based infrastructure, CI/CD and IDP initiatives. You will architect landing zones, implement security controls, and drive automation across platforms to empower product teams.

The role requires 8–10 years in technical engineering, strong DevSecOps expertise, and hands-on experience with Terraform, Harness, AKS, and GitHub Actions. Hybrid work is supported in CT, MA, NH markets.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
8–10 years of technical engineering experience with architecture, design, and operations.
Strong knowledge of Azure, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps principles.
Experience designing and supporting Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) or developer self-service portals.

Responsibilities

Platform Architecture & Automation: implement Azure landing zones with Terraform.
Build and evolve the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) using Harness and Backstage for self-service.
Engineer and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Harness, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
Implement GitOps across AKS, OpenShift, and Docker for automated deployments.
Ensure end-to-end automation, observability, and security integration in deployment pipelines.
