Job summary

George Consulting, Ltd. seeks an Azure Engineer to advance the USMC Enterprise DevSecOps ecosystem. You will lead systems engineering, future capability development, and secure pipeline operations across Azure and hybrid environments.

You will design IaC modules, implement automation, and ensure compliance with RMF and DoD security policies, while partnering with engineering and operations teams to sustain mission-critical platforms.

Qualifications

• Active DoD security clearance (Secret)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT/Engineering
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (IAT Level II)
• 8+ years' experience (Bachelor's) or 6+ years (Master's) in relevant field
• Strong systems engineering and DevSecOps practices
• Experience with Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and hybrid cloud
• Proficiency with IaC (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Bicep)
• Scripting in Python, Bash, Go, or Java
• Hands-on experience with automated security compliance tools

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation of Azure platform capabilities and DevSecOps toolchains
• Prototype future platform features and document requirements
• Plan cloud-based and hybrid systems with mission objectives
• Develop reusable Azure components (Helm charts, K8s manifests, IaC modules)
• Maintain secure CI/CD pipelines across Azure environments
• Integrate DevSecOps pipelines with SBOM, SAST/DAST, and container security
• Collaborate with dev, QA, security, and ops teams
