Job summary

Greenheck Group seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, ensuring secure, automated deployments across Dev, Test, and Production. You will own promotion workflows, integrate automated testing, and coordinate with ERP/SCADA interfaces to support enterprise platforms.

The role requires 4–6 years of hands‑on DevOps experience, strong scripting, and Azure DevOps mastery.

Qualifications

4-Year / Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or equivalent years of directly relevant work experience required.
4–6 years of hands‑on DevOps or release engineering experience with ownership of CI/CD pipelines in production.
Proven expertise with Azure DevOps (ADO), including YAML pipelines, releases, env management and test plan integration.
Experience managing environment promotion workflows (Dev → Test → Production) with gates and rollback.
Proficiency in scripting languages (C#, PowerShell, Python) for deployment automation and validation.
Working knowledge of Windows and Linux Server environments.
Experience with version control systems and branching strategies for parallel streams.
Familiarity with ERP/MES / SCADA integrations or automation deployments is a plus.
OpenShift / Redhat experience preferred.
IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, ARM templates) for provisioning preferred.
Docker / Kubernetes experience for supporting services preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to automate packaging, validation, and deployment of enterprise configurations.
Own and operate the environment promotion workflow (Dev → Test → Production) with quality gates at each stage.
Develop and maintain automated test/validation frameworks for packages, including SAP, Ignition/SQL, Kafka, and Bartender interfaces.
Collaborate on branching strategies, PR workflows, and versioning to support parallel build cycles across workstreams.
Manage infrastructure-as-code and config management for enterprise platforms across Dev, Test, Production tiers.
Partner with Architecture to define deployment standards, cutover runbooks, and rollback procedures.
Support post-deployment monitoring and incident response for platform stability and drift detection.
Maintain deployment docs, release notes, and ADO pipeline definitions per Way of Working standards.
Contribute to DevOps maturity by reducing manual steps and shortening lead times from development to production.
Collaborate with dev, ops, and security to deploy secure cloud infrastructure and apps on Azure.
Leverage Wiz to monitor, identify, and remediate vulnerabilities across clouds, containers, and apps.
Integrate security scans, vulnerability management, and compliance checks into CI/CD to minimize risk.
Ensure infrastructure, apps, and data comply with GDPR, SOC 2 and industry security best practices.
Implement cloud security controls including access management and data protection.
Lead security audits, threat assessments, and incident response to mitigate risks proactively.
