Job summary

Greenheck Group is seeking an experienced DevOps professional to design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps. You will own promotion workflows from development to production, implement automated tests across SAP, DataHub, Kafka, and Bartender, and collaborate on secure deployment practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or equivalent years of directly relevant work experience.
• 4–6 years of hands-on DevOps or release engineering experience in a production environment.
• Proven expertise with Azure DevOps (ADO), YAML pipelines, release pipelines, environment management, and test plan integration.
• Experience managing environment promotion workflows (Dev → Test → Production) with gates, quality checks, and rollback capabilities.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, C#, or Python) for deployment automation and validation.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.
• Experience with version control systems and branching strategies supporting multiple streams.
• Familiarity with ERP/MES/SCADA platforms; experience with SAP, Kafka, or Ignition/SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to automate packaging, validation, and deployment while ensuring security.
• Own and operate the environment promotion workflow (Dev → Test → Production) with quality gates and release controls.
• Develop and maintain automated test/validation frameworks for packages, including SAP, DataHub, Kafka, and Bartender interfaces.
• Collaborate on branching strategies, pull requests, and versioning for parallel build cycles across workstreams.
• Manage infrastructure-as-code and configuration management across Dev, Test, and Production tiers.
• Define deployment standards with Architecture, cutover runbooks, and rollback procedures for go-lives.
• Support post-deployment monitoring and incident response for enterprise platforms; diagnose pipeline failures.
• Maintain deployment documentation, release notes, and ADO pipeline definitions.
• Advance DevOps maturity by reducing manual effort and shortening lead times from development to production.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security to deploy secure Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Leverage Wiz to monitor, identify, and remediate vulnerabilities across cloud environments and containers.
• Integrate security scans, vulnerability management, and compliance checks into CI/CD processes.
