Job summary

Greenheck Group seeks an experienced DevOps/Release Engineer to design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for enterprise platform configurations. You will own promotion workflows (Dev to Prod), ensure release controls, and partner with architecture to set deployment standards.

Qualifications

• 4-Year / Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent years of directly relevant work experience required.
• 4–6 years of hands-on DevOps or release engineering experience required, with demonstrated ownership of CI/CD pipelines in a production environment.
• Proven expertise with Azure DevOps (ADO), including YAML pipeline authoring, release pipelines, environment management, and test plan integration required.
• Experience managing environment promotion workflows (Dev → Test → Production) with approval gates, quality checks, and rollback capabilities required.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, or C#) for deployment automation and validation required.
• Experience with Windows and Linux Server environments.
• Experience with version control systems and branching strategies for multiple streams required.
• Familiarity with ERP/MES/SCADA or manufacturing platforms; experience with SAP, Kafka, Ignition preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to automate packaging, validation, and deployment while embedding security.
• Own and operate environment promotion workflow (Dev → Test → Production) with gates and release controls.
• Develop and maintain automated test/validation frameworks for packages including SAP, Kafka, Ignition/SQL, and Bartender interfaces.
• Collaborate on branching strategies, PR workflows, and versioning for parallel build cycles across workstreams.
• Manage infrastructure-as-code and config management for enterprise platforms across Dev, Test, and Production tiers.
• Define deployment standards, cutover runbooks, and rollback procedures with Architecture team.
• Support post-deployment monitoring and incident response for enterprise platforms and environment drift.
• Maintain deployment docs, release notes, and ADO pipeline definitions per Way of Working.
• Contribute to DevOps maturity by reducing manual effort and improving deployment reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy secure cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Leverage Wiz for continuous vulnerability monitoring across cloud, containers, and apps.
• Integrate security tools into CI/CD, including automated scans and compliance checks.
• Ensure infrastructure, apps, and data meet GDPR, SOC 2, and security best practices.
• Implement and maintain cloud security controls and access management.
• Perform regular security audits, threat assessments, and incident response leadership.
