Job summary

Fts Inc. is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure. You’ll own IaC with Terraform, develop CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with engineering teams to enhance deployment speed, reliability, and security across environments.

You will provision Azure resources, manage Entra ID/RBAC, containerize apps, and support Kubernetes-based deployments while driving automation and on-call incident response.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infra role.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (VMs, networking, storage, Entra ID/RBAC).
• Strong experience with Terraform for IaC (modules, state management, workspaces).
• Experience writing YAML-based CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS).
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana).
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, security best practices, and IAM in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and maintain Azure infrastructure using Terraform across dev, staging, and production.
• Build and maintain YAML-based CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Manage and optimize core Azure services (VMs, networking, storage, Entra ID/RBAC) for applications.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for system health and performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications and support Kubernetes deployments.
• Drive automation to reduce manual work and improve release velocity.
• Support incident response and troubleshooting for infrastructure and pipeline issues; participate in on-call rotation.
• Apply security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines, including secrets management and least-privilege access.
• Document infrastructure, processes, and runbooks to support knowledge sharing.
