Job summary

Fusion seeks a DevOps Engineer to join our Woodbridge, NJ team, owning CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure end-to-end for our healthcare platform. You will migrate GitLab pipelines to GitHub Actions, deploy on Azure App Services and Container Apps, and implement Terraform modules while ensuring security and reliability.

The role blends hands-on automation with collaboration across engineering and security, offering a hybrid work model and a competitive rewards package.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on DevOps, build and release, or site reliability experience, including at least 2 years in Azure.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions, including merge workflows.
• Strong Terraform skills and scripting ability in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Working knowledge of Azure services used in delivery: App Services, Container Apps, Azure SQL, Managed Identity, Front Door.
• Hands-on experience deploying .NET applications through automated pipelines.
• Experience supporting production systems with observability tooling, incident response, and on-call readiness.
• Understanding of DevSecOps: secrets management, least-privilege, identity configuration, and securing pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current GitLab CI pipelines while migrating to GitHub Actions and Octopus Deploy for releases.
• Plan, analyze, and migrate repositories and history from legacy platforms into GitHub Enterprise.
• Develop and maintain Terraform for per-client environments and reusable modules with MR reviews.
• Deploy and operate applications on Azure App Services and Container Apps and migrate legacy workloads to them.
• Build and maintain container workflows, including tagging, registry management, and promotion across environments.
• Implement and tune monitoring, logging, and alerting in Datadog and Azure for quick visibility into failures.
• Participate in incident response and on-call rotation; automate fixes for recurring issues.
• Build security into the delivery pipeline with secrets handling, SAST/SCA, least privilege, and identity configurations.
• Improve developer experience by standardizing templates, reducing build times, and tracking core delivery metrics.
