Job summary

HarbourVest Partners is seeking a skilled DevOps Cloud Engineer to join our Quantitative Investment Science organization in a hybrid Boston area role. The candidate will build and support CI/CD pipelines, Azure-based infrastructure, and containerized deployments, driving reliability and automation across development and production.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in DevOps with Azure, Terraform or Bicep, and experience with Snowflake and modern data platforms.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of DevOps experience in cloud-based software delivery.
• Experience in financial services or investment management is preferred.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Build internal tooling to improve developer experience and reliability.
• Design and support infrastructure as code for Azure resources.
• Implement and manage containerized deployments using Docker; drive observability and incident response.
