Job summary

New York Technology Partners in Alpharetta, GA seeks a Senior DevOps/Release Engineer with 10+ years of experience to lead CI/CD, GitOps, and cloud deployment activities. You will own Azure DevOps pipelines, streamline release processes, and guide teams on best practices for scalable Kubernetes deployments.

Ideal candidates have strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python), IaC experience (Terraform, ARM/Bicep), and a history of delivering in SAFe Agile environments.

• Proven expertise in ArgoCD and GitOps methodologies
• Solid experience with Kubernetes/AKS, Helm, and container orchestration

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years in DevOps/Release Engineering including technical lead capacity
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, YAML-based pipelines, Repos, Artifacts)
• Proven expertise in ArgoCD and GitOps methodologies
• Implement and manage GitOps workflows using ArgoCD for Kubernetes-based application deployments
• Define and maintain ArgoCD application manifests, sync policies, and multi-cluster deployment strategies
• Ensure declarative, version-controlled infrastructure and application state management
• Solid experience with Kubernetes/AKS, Helm, and container orchestration
• Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates)
• Experience with Docker and container registries (ACR)
• Working knowledge of Git branching strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based development)
• Familiarity with SAFe Agile/Scrum delivery models
• Strong troubleshooting skills across build, deployment, and runtime environments

Preferred/Nice-to-Have:

• Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or AKS certification
• Experience with service mesh (Istio/Linkerd)
• Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid deployment models
