Job summary

Veriipro is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and manage containerized apps across Kubernetes and OpenShift on AWS and Azure. You will build Docker images, Helm charts, and K8s resources, and drive IaC with Terraform and automation via Ansible.

You will own CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bitbucket Pipelines), implement GitOps with ArgoCD/Tekton, and monitor systems using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, Dynatrace, Datadog, and CloudWatch.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, Platform Engineering, or SRE.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Proficient with Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Experience with Docker and Helm.
• Terraform and Ansible for IaC and automation.
• CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage containerized apps across Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS EKS, and Azure AKS.

• Automate server provisioning, configuration, and deployments with Ansible.

• Implement GitOps deployment with ArgoCD and Tekton.
• Monitor performance with Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, Dynatrace, Datadog, CloudWatch.
• Support cloud migrations, production deployments, release management, rollbacks, and incident resolution.
• Troubleshoot, perform RCA, and create runbooks and TDs.
• Collaborate with app, security, network, and infra teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions.

Job description

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications across Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS EKS, and Azure AKS environments.


• Build and maintain Docker images, container registries, Helm charts, and Kubernetes resources including Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and Ingress.


• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for cloud infrastructure provisioning.


• Automate server provisioning, configuration management, application deployments, and patching using Ansible.


• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Bitbucket Pipelines.


• Implement GitOps-based deployment practices using tools such as ArgoCD and Tekton.


• Monitor platform and application performance using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK Stack, Dynatrace, Datadog, and CloudWatch.


• Support cloud migrations, production deployments, release management, rollback activities, and incident resolution.


• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and create technical documentation and runbooks.


• Collaborate with application, security, network, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions.

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
