Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Senior DevOps Architect with deep Azure expertise to design and implement scalable enterprise cloud solutions in Bellevue, WA onsite. You will lead architecture decisions, champion IaC with Terraform, and build robust CI/CD pipelines across Azure environments.

You should have 15+ years in DevOps and cloud automation, hands-on Terraform development, and strong scripting skills. You'll mentor engineers, enforce security and RBAC best practices, and drive deployment

Qualifications

• 15+ years in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure and Automation.
• Expert Terraform development from scratch with modular design.
• Proficient in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
• Scripting in TypeScript, PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Experience with Private DNS Zones, Service Principals, Managed Identities, RBAC.
• Knowledge of cross-subscription and cross-network communications in Azure.
• Solid understanding of containers (Docker) and AKS/Kubernetes.
• Ability to handle quota limits, multi-region deployments, and production stability.

Senior DevOps Architect with Azure & Terraform
Location:Bellevue, WA (On-site)
Experience:15+ years overall experience and minimum 5+ years as Architect

Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on senior DevOps Architectwith deep expertise in Azure cloud architecture, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, and CI/CD pipeline engineering. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing and implementing enterprise-grade DevOps solutions across complex, scalable Azure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement secure, scalable, and cost-optimized infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
  
• Design and develop reusable Terraform modules and templates for enterprise use
  
• Build end-to-end DevOps automation pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar
  
• Enable cross-subscription, cross-VNet deployments and service communications
  
• Define and enforce cloud security, RBAC, identity management, and network architecture best practices
  
• Mentor DevOps engineers and lead technical decision-making across environments
  
• Implement advanced deployment strategies (blue-green, canary, GitOps)
  
• Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure and DevOps processes
  

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• 15+ years in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, and Automation
• StrongTerraformdevelopment experience — must be able to write from scratch, modularize, and version control
  
• Ability to build robust CI/CD pipelines inAzure DevOpsorGitHub Actions
  
• Proficiency in scripting (at least one of:TypeScript, PowerShell, Python, Bash)
  
• Experience withPrivate DNS Zones, Service Principals, Managed Identities, andRBAC

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure certifications : AZ-305 and AZ-400
  
• Experience with platform engineering and reusable frameworks for infrastructure
  
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to think architecturally under pressure
  
• Experience building developer-friendly templates or infra modules
  
• Clear and strong communication and documentation capabilities
