The ideal candidate will own end-to-end architecture, define standards for Bronze-Silver-Gold domains, and lead CI/CD for Databricks deployments, with a focus on PHI/PII data handling and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of data engineering/architecture experience.
• Proven Databricks platform experience on Azure.
• Deep expertise in Delta Lake, including performance optimization.
• Experience in regulated environments (PHI/PII handling).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Databricks-on-Azure lakehouse architecture.
• Define medallion architecture standards across domains.
• Establish platform standards to accelerate adoption.
• Design secure data access frameworks (RBAC, ABAC).
• Lead CI/CD and DevOps for Databricks deployments.
• Mentor engineers and drive design reviews.
• Collaborate with governance, security, SRE, and legal teams.
