Deloitte's AI & Engineering practice seeks an Azure/Databricks Infrastructure Engineer III to design, implement, and optimize secure Azure and Databricks environments for enterprise analytics and data transformation. This role emphasizes securing, scaling, and governing data platforms to support analytics, AI, and enterprise data transformation across industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Azure cloud infrastructure or platform delivery.
• Hands-on Azure networking, Landing Zones, cloud architecture, and deployment experience.
• Experience administering Databricks environments including Unity Catalog and governance.
• IaC experience with Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates.
• CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, governance, and operations.
• Willingness to travel ~50% on average.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate Azure infrastructure and Databricks environments for clients.
• Implement landing zones, networking, security controls, and scalable Cloud architecture across dev/test/prod.
• Configure and manage Databricks workspaces, clusters, Unity Catalog, governance, and security.
• Develop IaC with Terraform, Bicep, ARM and automate deployments via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Support modernization, analytics, AI, and data transformation via architecture reviews and workshops.
• Participate in architecture reviews, workshops, client discussions, and planning sessions.
