Job summary

CompuNet, Inc. is seeking a Microsoft Data Engineer to design, build, and modernize enterprise data platforms using Azure Data Services, Fabric, and Power BI. The role focuses on secure, scalable architecture and data governance in support of analytics and AI initiatives.

You will lead engagements, develop data pipelines, and optimize performance across Azure services while collaborating with stakeholders and delivering data solutions across multiple client environments.

Qualifications

3+ years working with Azure Data Services.
Advanced SQL and data modeling experience.
Experience with data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouses, ETL/ELT, governance, Python, Spark, and DataOps.
Experience implementing and optimizing a Medallion Architecture.
Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in related field.

Responsibilities

Design and support modern Microsoft data platforms in Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
Build enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse solutions.
Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Fabric Data Factory, Synapse Pipelines, and Databricks.
Create scalable data models and analytics solutions.
Implement governance, lineage, security, and compliance controls.
Optimize performance, scalability, reliability, and cost.
Support Power BI, analytics, and AI initiatives.
Implement DevOps, Git, and CI/CD practices.
