Job summary

CompuNet, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Data Engineer to design, build, and modernize enterprise data platforms using Azure Data Services, Fabric, and Power BI. You will partner with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable data solutions across the organization.

The role emphasizes consulting with clients, implementing governance, and delivering ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, and lakehouse architectures, while applying DevOps practices and optimizing cost and performance.

Qualifications

5+ years designing enterprise data solutions.
3+ years with Azure Data Services.
Expertise in Fabric, ADF, Synapse, Databricks, Azure SQL DB, SQL Server, and Power BI.
Advanced SQL and data modeling experience.
Experience with data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouses, ETL/ELT, governance, Python, Spark, and DataOps.
Experience implementing Medallion Architecture.
Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Design and support modern Microsoft data platforms in Azure and Fabric.
Build enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse solutions.
Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Fabric Data Factory, Synapse Pipelines, and Databricks.
Create scalable data models and analytics solutions.
Implement governance, lineage, security, and compliance controls.
Optimize performance, scalability, reliability, and cost.
Support Power BI, analytics, and AI initiatives.
Implement DevOps, Git, and CI/CD practices.
