Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a data engineer to design, implement, test, deploy, and support data pipelines on Cloud infrastructure with Azure services and Snowflake. You will build scalable, serverless data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and Databricks, ingesting data from RDBMS, NoSQL, files, Kafka, and more.

You will collaborate with security and analytics teams to ensure governance, performance, and reliability across the platform.

Qualifications

Proficiency with SQL required.
Understanding of distributed computing and big data tools.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments.
Knowledge of Cloud DevOps principles and automation.
Full-stack design within Azure and Snowflake ecosystems.
Familiarity with Big Data tech (Spark, NiFi, Impala, Sqoop, Hive).
Experience with Snowflake Cortex and AI features is a plus.

Responsibilities

Designs, implements, tests, deploys, and supports data pipelines in Cloud and Azure.
Develops scalable, maintainable serverless solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and Databricks.
Ensures data ingestion from RDBMS, NoSQL, files, Kafka, and big data tools.
Collaborates with stakeholders and security teams to enforce standards.
Builds monitoring tools with Cloud admins for performance and high availability.
Leads AI-enabled data product initiatives within the Cloud Data Platform.
