Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize data pipelines using Cloud infrastructure (Azure) and services like Azure Data Factory, Functions, and Databricks. The role involves building scalable, secure data flows across sources (RDBMS, NoSQL, files, Kafka) and collaborating with BI and analytics teams to enable data-driven decisions.

You will own end-to-end data lifecycle, implement monitoring, and contribute to AI-enabled productivity tools within the Cloud

Qualifications

• Proficient in SQL and data engineering in cloud environments.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and Snowflake.
• Strong CI/CD and version control practices (Git, Azure DevOps).
• Hands-on with big data technologies (Spark, NiFi, Hadoop).
• Knowledge of data pipelines, data security, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, tests, deploys, and maintains data pipelines in the Cloud (Azure).
• Develops scalable serverless solutions using Azure Data Factory, Functions, and Databricks.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements and enforce security standards.
• Leads AI-related capability evaluation on the Cloud Data Platform, focusing on data quality and automation.
• Maintains data lifecycle from raw data to end-user consumption and supports production support.
