Job summary

Mercedes-Benz USA is seeking an Adv, IT Software Architect to oversee cloud and server management across five data center locations and Azure cloud environments in NAFTA. The role supports a transition to cloud-based solutions and expands cloud responsibilities within Infrastructure and Operations.

The ideal candidate will lead architectural initiatives, manage capacity, perform cost projections, and collaborate with regional and global teams to improve efficiency and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT related field.
• Experience with cloud and data center server management in large orgs.
• Proven ability to design Azure cloud and Wintel solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Azure Cloud and Wintel server capacity and cost projections.
• Manage and monitor servers and backup/retention policies.
• Lead architecture work for Enterprise Portfolio and cloud initiatives.
• Coordinate tasks across teams and track progress across NAFTA.
