Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Global Solutions Architect to design and migrate enterprise workloads to the cloud, engaging with senior executives and cloud architects to build scalable, resilient architectures that deliver measurable business value.

You will partner with AWS teams, create technical content, mentor peers, and help drive adoption while traveling up to 25% domestically. The role requires deep cloud expertise across software, infrastructure, security, and data analytics.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.

Responsibilities

• Design advanced cloud-based solutions and migrate enterprise workloads to the cloud.
• Engage with senior executives and cloud architects to build relationships and enable cloud adoption.
• Craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures in collaboration with AWS teams.
• Develop internal/external technical content and participate in hiring to grow the SA community.
