Job summary

California Institute of Applied Technology is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach Microsoft Azure Cloud. This remote, hourly position supports synchronous online classes via Microsoft Teams, scheduled twice weekly in the evenings.

The role requires relevant Azure certifications, a bachelor’s degree or higher, and several years of field or teaching experience. Live classes run 6:00pm–9:30pm PT, with company-approved remote work.

Qualifications

• Official transcripts of bachelor's or higher from an accredited institution required.
• Current certifications: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Azure Cloud Administration and Azure Cloud Security.
• Three years’ experience in the respective field or two years of teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach synchronous online courses via Microsoft Teams on Mondays and Tuesdays.
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning and engagement.
• Adapt instructional methods to meet diverse student needs and ensure policy compliance.
• Promote collaboration and participate in new projects and ideas across departments.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to CIAT policies during online delivery.
