Job summary

California Institute of Applied Technology is seeking an Adjunct Instructor – Microsoft Azure Cloud to teach synchronous online courses via Teams. This remote role reports to the Associate Dean of Education - Cloud Computing and requires current Azure certifications and solid teaching experience.

Classes are scheduled in evenings Pacific Time, Monday and Tuesday, with a flexible, variable-hour schedule designed to accommodate candidates with other commitments.

Qualifications

Official transcripts of bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
Current certifications in Azure Fundamentals, Azure Cloud Administration, and Azure Cloud Security.
Minimum three years in field or two years teaching experience.
Advanced subject matter expertise with ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

Teach synchronous online courses via Microsoft Teams on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning and engagement.
Ensure compliance with college policies and accreditation requirements.
Collaborate with staff and participate in new project implementations.
