Job summary

Accela is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to maintain and improve the reliability of its cloud platform and SaaS services. You will monitor production environments, implement proactive observability with Datadog, and optimize Azure AKS, SQL, Storage, and Front Door.

The role emphasizes hands-on administration and ongoing operational excellence. You will participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and automation to prevent recurrence, while collaborating with multiple teams to meet

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
Minimum 3 years in SRE, Cloud Operations, DevOps, or related role.
Hands-on experience supporting production cloud environments.
Experience administering Microsoft Azure cloud services.
Hands-on experience with AKS, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, and Azure Front Door.
Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability using Datadog.
Experience leading incident response, RCA, and runbooks.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication across teams.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain production cloud environments for availability and performance.
Build, configure, and optimize monitoring, logging, and alerting using Datadog.
Develop dashboards for real-time visibility into health and performance.
Configure alerts to proactively address issues and degradations.
Support Azure-based components including AKS, SQL, Storage, and Front Door.
Lead incident response activities and perform root cause analysis.
Maintain operational runbooks and automation to improve reliability.
