Job summary

Databricks is seeking an Infrastructure & Platform Specialist Solutions Architect to guide enterprise customers through architecture, administration, and security of their Databricks deployments on Microsoft Azure. This remote-friendly role blends deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to position Databricks as the data and AI foundation for customers.

You will design secure, scalable Azure deployments, lead cross-functional teams, and influence product direction.

Qualifications

6+ years in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, or senior hands-on role.
Advanced expertise in Azure security, networking, platform administration, and IaC.
Strong coding in Python and SQL with live problem solving.
Distributed data systems architecture and cloud-native data platforms.

Responsibilities

Guide strategic customers through the full lifecycle of Databricks on Azure, from design to production deployment.
Architect secure, scalable enterprise deployments addressing Azure VNets, Private Endpoints, and Entra ID.
Serve as SME in Azure infrastructure, IaC, cloud networking, and identity management.
Lead architecture discussions with senior stakeholders, including whiteboarding and design reviews.
Drive platform adoption and development of customer-centric solutions across accounts.
