Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Software Developer to join a multiyear modernization effort focused on a cloud-native pension administration system hosted in Azure. The role emphasizes building scalable, secure software and transitioning from legacy systems while aligning with state pension requirements.

Candidate will work on APIs, services, and automation, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or MIS with 3–5 years of experience or equivalent.
• Proficient in C# .Net, Web API, Angular 16+, and SQL.
• Familiar with Azure DevOps, Git, and secure coding practices; Agile SDLC experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of application development including coding and unit testing.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain components to meet requirements.
• Create user stories and maintain a prioritized backlog.
• Build APIs, interfaces, and automation workflows.
• Translate specifications into production-ready software.
• Collaborate with analysts, testers, and PMs.
• Manage multiple tasks and meet timelines.
• Communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
