Job summary

Intel's Foundry Automation group seeks a Software Application Development Engineer for Government Programs in a hands-on development role. You will drive the full software lifecycle from design through release, collaborating with customers, PMs, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver automation software for Intel manufacturing facilities.

The role emphasizes on-site work in the US with security clearances and a path toward advanced cloud/microservices familiarity.

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship is required.
Ability to obtain and maintain US Government TS Security Clearance and SCI access.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
3+ years of experience with programming in C#, .NET, .NET Core, or Python.
2+ years of experience with modern CI/CD platforms, and Github.

Responsibilities

Work with customers/stakeholders/PM to understand requirements and design details.
Develop software and document/automate test cases; review design/code/test cases/installation.
Perform Unit/Functional/Regression/Volume Testing and build/install packages.
Release to production and support issues escalated from production.
Involved in the full software development lifecycle for automation software in Intel factories.
