Job summary

Orveon is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to manage Microsoft 365, Azure, and other cloud environments, serving as the IT escalation point for the New York office and delivering secure, scalable solutions.

The role involves governance, security, and hands-on cloud engineering with a hybrid in-office presence in Columbus. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in cloud/365 admin are required, with Power BI and scripting skills highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years administering Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Entra, Purview).
• 3+ years in cloud infrastructure role (Azure and others).
• Strong understanding of Azure infra and security.
• Experience with SaaS management and security.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and cloud-based reporting tools.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience providing hands-on technical support in a multi-office environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement compliance and data governance policies using Purview.
• Oversee Azure services and enforce security best practices.
• Design and deploy scalable, secure cloud solutions.
• Manage and monitor Azure infrastructure for performance and cost.
• Monitor identity/access controls.
• Support integration and security for multiple SaaS platforms.
• Ensure security policy compliance using Entra ID, RBAC, Azure Key Vault.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues.
• Provide guidance on Azure and other cloud technologies.
• Stay updated with Azure innovations and recommend improvements.
• Document support procedures and contribute to knowledge base.
• Deliver frontline end-user support in the New York office (triage issues, manage local networks, coordinate with remote teams).
