Job summary

ePlus Technology, inc. is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team. You will support customers running workloads in the public cloud with a focus on Azure production environments.

You will deploy, automate, monitor, and govern to ensure secure, scalable systems across multi-tenant clients. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in Azure deployments and 3+ years in complex cloud operations, plus experience with CI/CD pipelines and IaC. On-call rotation is a regular duty.

Qualifications

• 2+ years deploying and supporting Azure environments.
• 3+ years deploying and supporting complex datacenter and/or public cloud environments.
• Azure DevOps certification or related Azure certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in customer-facing consulting or support roles a plus.
• Experience with multiple Azure IaaS/PaaS services.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex cloud issues across disciplines.
• Collaborative across diverse, dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, automate, manage, and maintain Azure production environments.
• Ensure availability, performance, security, governance, and scalability of Azure systems.
• Manage creation, release, and configuration of production systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across application domains and platforms.
• Validate new customer deployments and provide architectural recommendations.
• Configure systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on Azure.
• Participate in on-call rotation as a primary resource.
• Work in CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps.
