Job summary

ePlus Inc. is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team and support customers running workloads in the public cloud. You will deploy, automate, and manage Azure production environments, ensuring performance, security, and scalability while collaborating across a dispersed team.

The role emphasizes on-call rotation, customer-facing interactions, and contributing to architecture and process improvements. A strong Azure, DevOps, and CI/CD background is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of deploying and supporting Azure environments.
• 2+ years of deploying and supporting complex datacenter and/or public cloud environments.
• Azure DevOps or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in customer-facing consulting or support roles is a plus.
• Experience with multiple IaaS and PaaS services on Azure.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex, interdisciplinary public cloud issues.
• Ability to work in a diverse, geographically dispersed team.

Responsibilities

• Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of Azure production environments.
• Ensure availability, performance, security, governance and scalability of Azure systems via monitoring and logging.
• Manage creation, release, and configuration of production systems.
• Troubleshoot problems across application domains and platforms.
• Validate new customer deployments and deploy with best practice governance.
• Provide architecture and process improvement recommendations.
• Set up metrics, logging, and monitoring on Azure platforms.
