Job summary

Rackspace Technology is seeking a proactive L1 Azure Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our Cloud Operations team. You will provide 24x7 operational support for Azure-based infrastructure, monitor resources, respond to alerts, and perform day-to-day administration of Windows and Linux systems hosted in Azure.

The ideal candidate has foundational Azure knowledge, basic system administration skills, and a strong willingness to learn within a managed services environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in Infrastructure Support or Cloud Operations.
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure environments preferred.
• Experience supporting Windows and Linux operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Azure infrastructure, applications, and services using approved tools.
• Acknowledge and respond to alerts within SLAs and escalate as needed.
• Perform first-level troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
• Provide shift handovers and communicate with stakeholders.
