Job summary

Rackspace Technology is seeking an L1 Technical IT Engineer - Azure Infrastructure Support to join our Cloud Operations team in Fort Wayne, IN. You will monitor Azure-based infrastructure, respond to alerts, and perform day-to-day administration of Windows and Linux systems hosted in Microsoft Azure.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Infrastructure Support, Cloud Operations, Service Desk, or Technical Support.
• Experience in Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure environments preferred.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Azure infrastructure, applications, and services; respond to alerts.
• Triage incidents and provide first-level troubleshooting; escalate as needed.
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge articles; document resolutions.
• Handle standard service requests and changes with proper validation.
• Provide timely shift handovers and communicate with stakeholders.
