Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and secure Microsoft Azure infrastructure for federal clients. The role supports hybrid and remote work while ensuring FedRAMP, NIST, and DoD compliance across cloud environments.

The candidate will automate deployment, monitor performance, and lead security-focused engineering initiatives. A United States citizen with an active Secret clearance is required, and the position is a full-time W2 opportunity.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Systems Administration, or related fields.
• 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
• Manage Azure VMs, VNets, Azure SQL Database, Blob Storage, and AD.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitLab, and Jenkins.
• Implement security best practices including RBAC and Defender for Cloud.
• Automate provisioning with Terraform, ARM templates, and Ansible.
