Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage hybrid Azure infrastructure for Air Force programs. You will automate deployments with Terraform, Ansible, and ARM/BICEP, and ensure security and compliance within a DevSecOps framework.

You will support 24x7 operations, work with cross-functional teams, and help optimize costs and performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years experience or Master’s with 2+ years.
• DoD 8140 Intermediate certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
• Azure certifications such as AZ-104 or equivalent.
• Experience in virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V, OpenStack.
• Hands-on IaC using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana.
• Networking basics: VPCs, subnets, VPNs, firewalls.
• DevSecOps practices and security automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage hybrid Azure infrastructure.
• Automate deployments and configurations using IaC and Config-as-Code tools.
• Provision and scale Azure resources with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor resources for cost efficiency and performance.
• Troubleshoot incidents and perform root-cause analyses.
• Ensure security, compliance, and governance under DevSecOps.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and integrate automation into development.
• Implement containerization and orchestration with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Configure monitoring tools to maintain uptime and reliability.
• Assist in audits and DoD/regulatory compliance.
