Job summary

CNA Insurance is seeking a senior Azure Technical SME to act as the central technical authority for CNA’s Azure cloud environment. You will provide expert guidance to MSPs, oversee landings zones and governance, and work with Security, AI, and Architecture teams to align with enterprise standards.

The role emphasizes automation, cost controls, and scalable, compliant Azure deployments across enterprise services, including Power Platform and Microsoft 365. Hybrid work model supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Eng or related field and progressive IT infrastructure experience.
• Typically 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure engineering and administration experience.
• Strong ability to design, enforce governance, security baselines, and cost controls for enterprise Azure environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide MSP technical guidance and escalation support for Azure cloud operations.
• Guide Azure landing zones, subscriptions, resource groups, networking, identity integration, policy controls, and governance.
• Collaborate with Security, Architecture, and AI teams to enforce enterprise standards and secure AI deployments.
• Automate provisioning, deployment, and compliance reporting for Azure and Modern Workplace.
• Develop monitoring, dashboards, and runbooks; mentor MSP engineers and administrators.
