Job summary

VC5 Consulting is seeking a hands-on Cloud DevOps Engineer to lead modernization and deployment automation for enterprise clients. You will design architectures to replace manual operations with automated pipelines and may lead small teams within our Managed Services division.

The role emphasizes collaboration with business users and client stakeholders, delivering scalable cloud solutions and mentoring junior engineers in a hybrid Houston-based setting.

Qualifications

Azure expertise and hands-on cloud engineering experience.
Experience with IaC using Bicep, Terraform, or Ansible.
Kubernetes workload management experience.
Leadership or escalation-point experience for small teams.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for cloud apps.
Build scalable IaC deployments using Azure Bicep, Terraform, or Ansible.
Lead onboarding, migration, and modernization for new clients.
Mentor junior engineers and act as escalation lead for MSP.
