Mount Sinai Morningside is seeking a Cloud Data Operations Engineer to support the Data Cloud Engineering team. The role focuses on planning, design, and deployment of Azure-based data solutions and guiding cloud adoption across the enterprise.

The candidate should mentor junior staff, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and align Data Cloud deployments with Mount Sinai’s DTP strategy and enterprise architecture. Hybrid/onsite work model with onsite interview.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline; Masters preferred.
• Eight years IT experience with six years in systems analysis or applications development.

Responsibilities

• Understand Azure stack including serverless, managed, and custom deployments.
• Scripting for IAC to improve delivery efficiency.
• Advise on best practices for cloud services to enable business goals.
• Support DTP Enterprise Data cloud team in designing and planning architectures.
• Create migration roadmaps moving services to Azure resources and PaaS.
• Develop solution roadmaps; select infrastructure and technology platforms.
