Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System in New York seeks a Cloud Data Operations Engineer to support deployment and optimization of the Enterprise Data Cloud on Azure. You will collaborate with the DTP team and mentor junior resources, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture.

The role is hybrid, onsite as needed, with location at 150 E 42nd Street. Ideal candidates bring deep Azure expertise, scripting/IAC experience, and strong documentation skills to design, implement, and operate data cloud

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
Eight years of IT experience with at least six years in systems analysis and application development.

Responsibilities

Understand Azure stack including Serverless, Managed and custom deployments.
Use PowerShell or scripting to implement IAC for consistent delivery.
Advise on best practices to utilize cloud services for competitive advantage.
Support Enterprise Data Cloud team to develop complex designs and project plans.
Create architecture specifications mapping requirements to solutions/technologies.
Help migrate services to Enterprise tenant including Azure resources and PaaS services.
Assist in selecting infrastructure and platforms based on knowledge across technologies.
Deliver solution implementations independently.
Learn quickly and keep pace with cloud/ mobility trends.
Mentor junior resources.
