Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Cloud Data Operations Engineer to join the Enterprise Data Cloud team. The role focuses on planning, design, and deployment support for Azure-based data services, aligning with DTP strategy and enterprise architecture.

You will mentor junior resources, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure effective cloud adoption across data platforms and infrastructure in a hybrid/onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Eight years of IT experience with at least six years in systems analysis and application development.
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud stack, data services and security.
• Experience mentoring junior resources and leading cloud adoption initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, and deployment of Data Cloud solutions.
• Create migration roadmaps moving services to Azure resources and PaaS.
• Develop architecture specifications mapping business needs to technology solutions.
• Mentor and develop junior team members within DTP Enterprise Data Cloud team.
